Earthquake is a natural disaster that everyone has no control of. Preparedness and knowledge in disaster management is the key in order to be safe and survive this calamity.
This coming 22nd June of 2016 everyone is invited to join the 2nd Metro Manila “Shake Drill” at 9 AM. There will be simultaneous earthquake drills in different parts of Metro Manila.
The Blessed Sacrament Catholic School will participate in the said event. A wide dissemination of information was done through various seminars of all stakeholders last June 17, 2016. These include seminars of fetchers and school service drivers and providers, distribution of assignments and roles of school teachers and staff, lastly pupils and students orientation on emergency preparedness.
The orientation covered information on what to do before, during and after the damaging earthquake and how to calmly respond to emergency situations.
We are happy that the school is of service to its entire stakeholder especially in event of emergency. Let us all participate so we can be Ready and Equipped for Earthquake!
