Blessed Sacrament Catholic School turns SILVER: An important milestone in SY 2012 - 2013.
- In June 1987 Blessed Sacrament Learning Center started through the initiative of the then Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Manuel Sebastian with the cooperation of the then President of the Catholic Women’s League, Mrs. Lolita C. Amores.
- Thereafter, Rev. Fr. Tom Flores continued the management and operation of the learning center as first Director with Mrs. Lolita C. Amores as the first Assistant School Directress.
- In 1989 during the incumbency of Rev. Fr. Reynaldo Bugay officially affiliated this learning center to be a member of MAPSA (Manila Archdiocese and Parochial Schools Association). This strengthened the school’s thrust for Catholic education, emphasizing religion as the core of the value-based curriculum. This created more stability as seen in the continuing growth of enrollees.
- Moving on with the development and strengthening of the school by further investing in putting up a building of its own to house the school, Rev. Fr. Arsenio Cirera gave it more prominence and presence in the community. His hard work and initiative paid off as the school became a stronger evangelization arm of the parish through quality education. At this point, the school had a complete curricular offering for Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.
- Driven and responding to a strong clamor from parents and the community, Rev. Fr. Albert N. Delvo the next Director began to offer High School education through the inspiration of our Most Rev. Bishop Antonio R. Tobias, D.D. Bishop of Novaliches / Chairman of the Board of RCBN-ES (Roman Catholic Bishop of Novaliches – Educational System). Further expansion was realized and better community service was seen and experienced.
- At the present, the school has complete facilities for complete basic education and has grown to be a hallmark for good Catholic Education for young learners.
This legacy was ably managed by the active support of the Principal, Mrs. Angelita C. Concepcion who served for seven years and is now retired as of this school year. She served the school for 25 years as a teacher and administrator combined. Now with RCBN-ES at the helm, the school is operated and managed by Most Rev. Antonio R. Tobias, D.D., Bishop of Novaliches, the Superintendent – Director, Rev. Fr. Albert N. Delvo, and highly competent lay educational leaders.
